Charleston Progressive Academy dedication

Charleston Progressive Academy was formally dedicated on Friday May 16th 2014, with local leaders, teachers & students participating in the festivities. The media center was dedicated and named in memory and honor of Dr. Maria Goodloe-Johnson, former superintendent of Charleston County School District. The building program incorporated the preservation of the existing mid-century school with thoughtful additions conveying the significance of its architectural & social merits. Charleston Progressive Academy s mission is to engage students in active learning experiences that will produce educationally sound leaders.
